Go 1 mile north on OR 205 to the intersection with the Andrews—Folly Farm County Road. Proceed north 2.3 miles to an unimproved way that heads west- erly. Park.
Walk the way 1.8 miles to Burke Spring. From Burke Spring climb steeply to "The Peaks." If you are backpacking, a little bench just north of Alvord Peak has water and can serve as camp. Hike the eastside of Alvord Peak to Buckwilder Pass, then down to the spring 1 mile east of Alvord Peak, and finally cross-country back to your vehicle.
