Go southerly on OR 201 8 miles. As OR 201 turns east, continue south on the county road to Succor Creek State Recreation Area. After 26 miles turn westerly for Leslie Gulch. At approximately 13 miles is the boat ramp/campground at the mouth of Slocum Creek.

Hike up Slocum Creek far enough to cross over to return down Schoolhouse Gulch and Spring Creek and then the reservoir edge back to your vehicle.

This is a rugged and long day hike. Get an early start. If you find the going too slow for the time available, just turn around (assuming you've gone less than half way).
